Many colleges look for at least one lab science on a student's transcript. The experiments in the course are designed to be done at home, but about half of them require some specialized equipment, including a high-quality microscope. You can view our recommended microscope here.

Additionally, we offer a microscope laboratory set to accompany the course, as well as a dissection laboratory kit. The laboratory sets cannot be shipped directly to foreign countries, therefore, they are not a required part of the course.

The course uses the Microsoft Internet Explorer web browser, but it does not use the Internet. Everything you need is contained on the CD-ROMs. Microsoft Internet Explorer is utilized as the user interface because it is easy to operate and is familiar to most students.
