Sonlight Virtual offers an innovative online homeschooling platform that enables high school students to work independently by seamlessly accessing their lesson plans, notes, and assignments online. Upon lesson completion, students take daily assessments and receive instant auto-graded feedback to confirm their understanding of lessons.
Additionally, parents can actively engage in their high school student’s progress through a dedicated parent account, facilitating easy tracking of assessments. Online communication between parents and students is also facilitated through this comprehensive online system.

Virtual courses are currently available for high school Literature/Language Arts courses, levels 100-400. Purchase access to a Sonlight Virtual Course individually, or for the best discount, add on to your All-Subjects Package, History / Bible / Literature, or Literature/Language Arts course during checkout.
You'll have six months from your purchase date to enroll and gain access to your guide(s) in the online platform. Once enrolled, you'll have online access to your purchased guides for 12 months. Your purchase includes 1 student and 1 parent account. Please contact customer service for details.
Can I try before I buy?
Yes! Just like our printed Instructor’s Guides, you can sample the first week of every Sonlight Online course. Simply create an account and register for the course you’d like to sample.

How long will my student be in front of a screen?
Minimal. Unlike most online homeschool programs, Sonlight Online students spend their day reading engaging books, discussing questions with their parents, or working on hands-on projects and science experiments. Students only log in to their online homeschooling program to view the daily schedule and lessons, upload assignments, or view grades.
Can I return a Sonlight Online Course?

How long do I have access to my online course(s)?
You'll have six months from your purchase date to enroll and gain access to your course(s) in the online platform. Once enrolled, you'll have online access to your purchased courses for 12 months.
Will I have access to my course materials and any uploaded assignments after 12 months?
You will have access to your course and all uploaded materials for 12 months from your enrollment date. Any coursework, proof of work, gradebooks, and reports will need to be downloaded prior to the end of the 12-month period.
Can I add Online Course access after my original purchase?
You'll receive the best price on your Online Course access when adding to your purchase at checkout. You can add access at a later date as long as it is within 6 months of your original qualifying purchase. We cannot add online access after 6 months has passed. Please contact Customer Service to add Online Course access within 6 months of your qualifying purchase.
Once I've purchased, how do I enroll?
You will receive an email after your order ships. Follow the directions in the email you receive.
Do I purchase access for each student? Or can multiple students share a log-in?
Your purchase includes 1 student and 1 teacher account. An additional teacher/parent seat may be purchased for $15. Please contact customer service for details. Observer accounts are free.
