My son is very visual and enjoyed the Awesome Book of Bible Facts. It literally illustrates ideas and characters in the bible in a way that he could appreciate.

We enjoyed the CD and played it in the morning at breakfast time. We have twins age 6 and a 7 year old. They really enjoyed singing along. It was a great way to start our day! We have a son that especially learns by audio, along with visual. This year we will be starting Core 2 and I know our soon to be 8 year old is going to enjoy the comic illustrations, (Awesome Book of Bible Facts). What a fun book for them to enjoy along with their Bible. Thank you Sonlight!

We purchased this Bible program last year as part of Core 1+2 and decided not to use it after about six weeks. The Bible reading seemed segmented and disjointed - jumping from verse to verse within the same chapter - and although I like the idea of the cd and the musical accompaniment, it uses a variety of modern Bible versions, some of which we will not use in our home. I don't consider this a true Bible curriculum and do not plan to utilize any future Bible programs from Sonlight. We'll stick to the main Sonlight Core programs and supplement as needed.
