In these 36 experiments—suitable for 1st grade through 3rd grade—you will explore together why we have seasons, how plants drink, and so much more!

Each experiment relates directly to the reading material scheduled in the Sonlight Science A package for a more linear progression from reading to doing. You'll guide your student through an exploration of the scientific process, starting with a key question—using your children's natural instinct to question and be curious! As they draw conclusions from their experiments, they will be able to adjust their thinking and gain an appreciation for the scientific process (and principles!) they just experienced for themselves.

The experiments include key concepts, detailed step-by-step instructions, colorful illustrations and helpful tips to take you through each fun, easy, and doable experiment.
