You Choose! Pay for your Sonlight^® order in three to nine easy payments...

Like you, we feel the various economic pressures affecting our country and the world nowadays, whether it's gas, groceries, or bills making a fist around your checkbook. Maybe you see something in our catalog you feel would greatly improve your family's learning experience, but need to buy other products first. Or you fall in love with a product on our website, but don't have all the money to purchase at the time.

Paying for anything today can be tough. We want to give you the freedom to provide the best possible education for your children without straining your budget. So to serve you better, we've made it possible to pay for your Sonlight materials over a three- to nine-month period.

Instead of having to split your curriculum purchase into trimesters to afford all the materials, a Time Payment plan lets you order everything at once without paying the full amount up front. You also can buy recommended resources or additional items, and even take advantage of our Sonlighters Club discount—a 10% discount on our Core or Newcomer packages, as well as a year-long 10% discount on any additional purchases.

How does it work?

If your order totals $399 or more, you may select one of three Time Payments option at check out. If you choose time payments, a small one-time, non-refundable handling fee is added to your order total, as follows:

• 3 months—2.99%
• 6 months—5.99%
• 9 months—8.99%

The initial payment at the time of shipment is 25% of the total cost of goods and one-time, non-refundable handling fee [ (order total + handling fee) x 0.25 ].

Here is an example of how the various time options break down, assuming an order total of $1,000:

After your order is shipped, the remaining balance is split into the number of payments in the plan you chose and charged to your credit card every month. The charges are made beginning approximately 30 days (no less than 30 and no more than 40 days) from the shipment date, and then approximately every 30 days thereafter. We keep you informed along the way, by email, so you'll know exactly what happens when.

Please Note: Qualification for a time payment plan is dependent on successfully obtaining a credit score that meets or exceeds the credit threshold we have established. Your credit score is based on information about your credit experiences, such as your bill-paying history, the number and type of accounts you have, late payments, collection actions, outstanding debt, and other criteria.

Also, please note that because Sonlight must verify your credit score, approval for a Time Payment option may take up to 24 hours. Our credit check will appear on your credit reports as a “new inquiry.” Typically, this alone will not affect your credit score, but you should be aware, however, that numerous credit check inquiries from one or more sources within a relatively short period of time may cause a slight drop in your score.
