If your shipment suffers any shortages, damages, etc., you must report them to us within THREE MONTHS of receipt to receive any credit.
If you return any materials, we guarantee within 10 BUSINESS DAYS of receiving your materials to transmit the appropriate credit to your credit card issuer or, if you paid via electronic or paper check, to place a refund check in the mail to you.
NOTE: Due to credit card agency policies, we are unable to grant requests for processing credit card refunds to new or different sources; for instance, we cannot apply credit to a different card from the one you used when you placed your order.

If you request us to cancel or change an order (including those with a time payment option) after it has been accepted into our system, and if we are able physically to accommodate your request, we will charge you a handling fee of 5% of the value of the change request or $10, whichever is greater.
If you refuse delivery of an order you placed, you will incur a handling fee of 10% of your order total or $10, whichever is greater. We cannot make any changes to an order, including the time payment option, once it has been shipped from our warehouse.
Currently, our system cannot process exchanges. To make an "exchange" we recommend that you make a new online order for the item you would like to receive and then return the unwanted item to Sonlight, completing two separate transactions.
By doing this, you will receive your new item more efficiently because your return will not have to be processed first. Also, according to credit card policy, we must put your refund directly back onto your card. We can not directly apply your credit to the new order.
The best way to find out if Sonlight is approved for homeschool in your state is to call your State Board of Education. We strongly urge our customers to invest the time necessary to become familiar with the controlling laws concerning home education in their community.
