Which placement tests should you take?

The Let's Go Learn reading assessment gives you valuable feedback you can use to gauge your child's strengths and weaknesses in reading, spelling, and comprehension. No reading assessment is perfect, but the results of the assessment combined with what you know about your child can help you choose the best level of study for him or her.

The Let's Go Learn assessment costs $20 or less per assessment, but is not necessary for choosing a Sonlight® Core or Newcomer™ package.

The San Diego State Quick Reading test is a reading assessment to determine a learner’s word recognition ability. It is free.

The Singapore, Saxon, and Horizons Math placement tests are FREE and we highly recommend that your child take at least one math placement test before you choose your math materials.

Let's Go Learn Reading Assessment
This online reading assessment gives you immediate feedback on your child's reading level, as well as his or her strengths and weaknesses in reading--all for less than the cost of most formal assessments.
