A time of discovery and wonder...

They walk; they talk, and often get into things that we wish they wouldn't. They are naturally inquisitive, love interacting with you, and have an intense desire to learn. We call them "toddlers."

Satisfy (and nurture) your toddler's inquisitive hunger...

Our new P3/4—Fiction, Fairy Tales, and Fun, is a comprehensive collection of children's classic stories, rhymes, fairy tales, picture books, games, sing-alongs, and more, hand selected to fuel your children's imagination and satisfy their hunger to learn.

Plus...

We include a book of children's poetry, science books, and an excellent illustrated Bible storybook for children. Sonlight Newcomer™ P3/4 adds over 77 nursery rhymes and sing-alongs on CD, games that build memory and pattern recognition (the only math instruction that's truly needed for ages 3-4 years), and more!

Best of all: Not a single workbook or lesson plan in sight...

Take it easy. Enjoy spontaneous times with your tiny tots as you crack open these timeless treasures and read to your kids. There's no schedule to follow. No items that you have to do. P3/4 is low-stress learning at its best.

This was a lot of fun. My children LOVED "What do people do all Day?" and selections like A Robert McCloskey Collection & Eloise Wilkin Stories were favorites too. A nice cozy couch time reading to the littlest ones. Highly recommend.

I haven't purchased this yet, but... we came across the Harper Collins Treasury of Picture Book Classics at the library right around the time this program came out. It's quickly become my three-year-olds favorite book-he takes it with him to nap and bedtime. It has a few stories he's already familiar with and some that have quickly become favorites. It has activities to do with your child after each story is read. I was so excited to see this program (and that this book was part of the 3/4 program) and the wonderful book selections-based on the Harper Collins book alone I'd give it 5 stars! Can't wait to get the rest of it!!

You won't regret getting this Core for your young ones! My children are 6, 4, 2 and new baby and I can honestly say they all (myself included!) love reading and listening to these stories. I appreciate that Sonlight put the time and effort into picking great books even for the little ones! The first favorite was "Horton Hatches the Egg", then was "Go, Dog. Go!", and I think now it is, "What do people do all day". Teddy Mix and Match is a huge favorite, too! We read through this core in about two months, and we continue to read it still!

I bought this for my 3.5 year old for some organized summer reading/activities. I am thrilled with the selection of books. He is so interested in all of them. If you follow the teacher's guide the books you read first are a little basic for a progressed 3 year old, but there are plenty of good ones just the same. I have mixed emotions about the teacher's guide. I like that the activities that coincide with the stories are very easy and simple. I don
