Core 200
Unveil the most important events in Christian history!
Follow in the footsteps of great men and women of faith who "preach the gospel to every creature" and "make disciples of every nation." Along the way you and your older children will have many lively discussions as you unpack 2,000 years of church history and gain a balanced understanding of the story of Christianity.
INSTRUCTOR'S GUIDE
50 years of combined experience to guide your teaching success!
Our goal is to provide you with proven, literature-rich curriculum that will make learning fun for your kids and make teaching easy for you. You will never have to:
- Spend weeks and months surfing the Internet, sweating at conferences and curriculum fairs to find the right books and other learning resources for your kids. Relax.
- Spend your weekends and evenings writing lesson plans. Be free.
- Think up pertinent questions and activities to go with each lesson. Don't stress.
- Read every book that your kids read. Save time
HISTORY/BIOGRAPHIES
Bring the story of Christianity to life as you and your student journey from Pentecost to the present!
"Pack your bags" for an inspiring, and sometimes challenging, journey through 2,000 years of church history. Core 200—History of God's Kingdom, will ensure that your children gain a balanced understanding of the tragedies and triumphs found in church history so they will be able to answer the opponents of the Christian faith with knowledge, wisdom, and spiritual insight.
You and your student will:
- Discover the fascinating story of the first "missionaries" to East Asia.
- Applaud the heroic deeds of those who sacrificed their fortunes, reputations and lives to make the Bible available for all to read.
- Wrestle through some of the controversial issues that have divided the Western church as you come to understand why it has come to exist in its present form.
- And much more.
Your Core 200 Instructor's Guide covers your study of the History of God's Kingdom, 27 literary classics, Bible and our Language Arts 200 program.
BIBLE/APOLOGETICS
Rediscover Jesus, defend your faith, and learn how to effectively share the gospel!
Core 200 Bible will equip your students to understand, deepen, and defend their faith. They will learn (and be able to articulate) the fundamental principles of the Christian faith. A panoramic study of all 66 books of the Bible will allow them to see the beauty and consistency of the this "book of books."
LITERATURE
Literature so rich you'll want to read it too!
Unique in approach to all of our other Reader and Literature programs, Literature 200 includes our most diverse collection of classics.
Due to the nature of our Core 200—History of God’s Kingdom, we do not coordinate the Literature 200 titles with History 200. This gives us the flexibility to assemble many of the world's most cherished classics into a unique, exclusive Literature program. Our Language Arts program coordinates with the Literature and is included in the Core 200 Instructor Guide.
Excitement, adventure, and timeless drama await your children as they "crack open" the covers and dive into these "classics."
LANGUAGE ARTS
The easy way to develop a lifetime love of writing in your student!
Language Arts 200 will unleash your students' creative writing potential. Students will learn and practice the basics of literary analysis, essays, research and more.
You'll ensure their daily progress and understanding with questions for study and discussion. Vocabulary development flows naturally as new words are encountered in daily literature readings.
Language Arts 200 is completely integrated with Literature 200 and included in the Core 200 Instructor's Guide.
