Backorder Status

Status of Instructor's Guides on Backorder

The following chart shows the expected availability of our Instructor's Guides.
You may order any of these guides now. We will ship these guides starting on the "Expected Availability" date listed for each.

If your guide is on backorder: We ship backorders when all backordered items are ready to ship. Hence, if there are other backordered items in addition to the guides for your particular order, your order will generally be shipped only when all items are available.

Please Note: The "Expected Availability" column means the item is available to be shipped on that date.

We ship backorders when all backordered items are ready to ship (unless there is one item that will be particularly slow in coming; we know of no such items yet this year).

Backorder Shipping Policy

  • Once we receive your order, we strive to send you each item as soon as possible.
  • We will first send you one shipment of all the in-stock items.
  • Then, we will wait to send you a second shipment until all the backordered items are available.
  • Backordered items of a month or longer will ship as they become available.

International Shipments

For international shipments, Sonlight will hold orders containing backordered items for up to four weeks in order to ship all possible materials together.

Drop-Shipped Items

We special order a few items--such as less common Rosetta Stone® packages--as needed. These items are not backordered, but it will take an extra 10 business days for your items to ship.

Backorder Billing Policy

We bill you when your goods are shipped. You will not be charged for backordered items until we send them to you. There are no additional shipping fees.
