Presentation of an "intelligent cause" (vs. "natural cause") perspective carefully written for acceptance in public schools' biology classes! Powerful because material is presented in such a calm, logical, clear manner. Deals with evidence from genetics and biochemistry besides more common paleontological issues. Includes both easy-to-read overviews and in-depth exercises. Excellent resource for eighth grade and older, both for informational content as well as the presentational model.

This is a great book to read, assuming you have no basic background in biology, and no desire to learn actual science. If you wish to read a book about creationism, you're far better off reading the Bible. If you wish to read a book based on REAL science, you're better off reading an actual textbook.
Of Pandas And People does not present any positive evidence for its case, and instead relies on rebutting evolution, and then inserting itself blindly in evolution's place.
Therefore, if you wish to know how Intelligent Design is actually Creationism's badly dressed younger brother, or want a good laugh about how silly ID is, then you should read this book. The fuzzy science contained herein is almost laughable, if only so many misinformed people didn't actually believe it. If you're wanting to learn about the origins of life, you would do well to avoid this ridiculous mockery of actual science.
