As a high schooler in biology class, the author believed that science proves God does not exist. As an adult journalist, a "chance" assignment led him to investigate further.

Does science, in fact, point away from God... or toward Him? Strobel keeps this weighty discussion engaging and readable for us without PhDs. He weaves stories of his own personal quest with fascinating details from his interviews of (and responses to) numerous scientists with far-ranging specialties and opinions. Could it be that our universe looks "designed" because it truly is the handiwork of God? Plenty of questions for study and reflection, and suggested additional reading, make this a fantastic first step toward deeper study of several of mankind's most ponderable questions. Compelling.
