I'm 9 years old. I like using the Timeline book and it's very helpful for remembering what we have learned. It helps me keep track of different things we've studied. Just for fun, I put my American Girl doll stickers in too, along with my birthday and the birthdays of my family members.

Started using the Timeline when my soon graduating 17 year old was 4. The first thing we pasted in was his hospital photo and the date/year he was born. Although you cannot purchase figures for high school, we continue to make our own and use the book. It's such a popular part of our school that I had to purchase a second book when my younger son was in Core 5 because his brother insisted he was keeping his book FOREVER and if little brother wanted on for himself, he needed one of his own!

Easy for my kids to use. Plenty of room to add additional material. I recommend a new one for each history break (Core 1&2,Core 3&4 - 1 book) (Core 6&7, Core 100 - 1 book)

This is the second year that we have used this book (started in K) and I am so glad that we invested in it. I had toyed rather seriously with making our own, but this one is sooo sturdy and well put together - great spiral binding and very thick ivory pages that my own would not have matched it or held up for 12 years. Putting the stickers in and flipping through the pages each time helps my daughter get a flow of history that would not be possible otherwise. We outline the stickers with whatever the Sonlight color is for that grade (ex: pink - K, red -1st) and also note what book we learned about it in. We also put important family events in like birthdays and our wedding date - she loves to see our pictures in there in real history.

This time book is a great for kids to see how history matches up and the progression of it. My kids greatly look forward to using the stickers in the book, and giong through the whole book to remember the stories we've read. It helps them picture the flow of time.
