This is one of our favorites. We actually read it quicker than the IG had planned, my kids wanted it read every time we sat down to do schoolwork. The pictures are fun to look at and it explains occupations in an interesting and easy to understand way. Even my 2year old sat still!

Our family enjoys this book. It's fun to look at the different occupations that people can have. The pictures are marvelous and fun, the names of the people are humorous. Great book.

This was a favorite for my 4 year old and one she continues to read even after we have finished it for school purposes. She references the different people and the things she learned about different professions "Remember on Banilla Island when . . . ".

My daughter loves this book. There is so much to look at in each picture, and it is a fun way to introduce children to many different occupations.

It's not my favorite, but my son loves it! He loves searching the pictures and looking at the whole island.

This book is a favorite with my 6 and 4 year old boys. They don't get the funny names, but my 12 and 10 year old kids love to hear me read it because they do. Mayor Naize is a favorite.

We enjoy this book and are happy with the extensive look into various professions. While the "punny names" can be humorous, some left much to be desired (must all nurses be named "Nurse Payne"? "Manual Labor" seemed a bit offensive)

Another favorite of my 4yo and 7yo. As long as it was scheduled, this one was picked first most weeks, especially by the 7yo. The pictures are fun and engaging. My girls loved reading about all the people in "Banilla".
