Kindergarten Multi-Subject Package

This is my first year homeschooling, and I was unsure where to even start! I was pretty impressed with Sonlights website and the info given, but still was unsure whether I'd be happy once I received all my stuff. I have to say that my daughter and I LOVE the Sonlight curriculum, and am amazed at how much she has learnt in 1 month! The books are brilliant, and the IG's are perfectly paced for us. I do love how you can add in more if you feel necessary, or tone things down a bit, if you feel its too fast or too much. I am loving each day, and I am so interested in what she is learning too! Thanks Sonlight for making this such a wonderful experience. Can't wait for when I order grade 1!!

Many parts of the Sonlight curriculum was what my girls needed, but certain aspect were lacking. I would give almost 4 stars, but wanted to hightlight some frustrations, to help those other newbies out there. The Horizon Math instrctor guide was worthless, it just repeated what was in the workbook, and had very little help as to how to expand the learning. I will be trying Singapore this year. I will also not use the LA/ handwrtting again, but instead have looked elsewhere. However we love the Bible, Read Alouds, and History, so we will be usinging that again. Hope this is helpful.

This was my third Sonlight Core, and as was the case for the previous two, I am not disappointed. We're on week 21 and my daughter often gets the books out for me when she thinks I'm taking too long to get started. She loves doing school! It took us about a week to get a hang of the schedule, but now it takes me only a few minutes to prepare for each day. That is a huge help! I can't imagine trying to pull everything together on my own. The schedule is very flexible and can easily be made to work according to your needs. I've never tried any curriculum outside what Sonlight offers, but we've been so pleased with this core (and the others) that I find no need to look elsewhere!

This is the third Sonlight Core that I have purchased, and I have found nothing else that comes even close. Believe me, I have looked high and low in the interest of saving money. However, I just keep coming back to Sonlight. Absolutely nothing compares to the quality of this program. The instructor guides, book choices, and complimentary curriculum aids are thoughtfully chosen, with an excellent educational philosophy to back it up. I love how they have done all the hard work for me, so that all I have to do is to enjoy the learning process with my children. We love Sonlight!!

This is our first year with to homeschool and we don't regret purchasing Sonlight Curriculum. My doughter and I (and two year old son) look forward to school every day. The only problem is that the read aloud passage for each day is way to short. The books are so interesting that me doughter is nearly in tears every day because she wants me to keep reading. Thank you Sonlight. I am grateful for a wonderful "first time homeschooling" experience. Sometimes I feel guilty for having this much fun!

As a homeschooling mother to 6 children, I have used Sonlight's K Curriculum to successfully teach 3 of my children to read so far! {I will be using K again next year for my next two children coming up and can't wait!} The introduction to different World Cultures was a wonderful way to start our homeschooling journey and each time we come back to doing the Sonlight K Curriculum I get excited again! I credit Sonlight's choice of books, Language Arts for kindergarteners and excellent math choices for instilling a love of learning in my children that still continues to this day!

I am finishing up my Sonlight K curriculum for the year. The kids and I absolutely loved it. We were introduced to fabulous books and our school year was lots of fun. Thank you Sonlight for putting it together for us!

We received our curriculum in July and my five year old daughter wanted to start her 'new' school right away. I skimmed through a little confused. As the time went by (5 or so weeks) I was very confused but I continued on, now into the curriculum about 15 weeks now, I am very pleased. I, would and do, highly recommend Sonlight. The more time I spend in the teacher's guide and the books, the more I learn and am able to adapt it to the daily routine. Sometimes we do a large amount and sometimes a small. I was slightly overwhelmed with all the information but as I go, it becomes clear as to what it necessary and interesting that day. My daughter loves learning and has really taken a liking to the "Fun Tales". I had the opportunity to talk with her about adult obedience to the law in "HOT ROD" with book 8 as he was punished as an adult for his choices. I think the book has great 'teachability' not just reading a few goofy rhyming words. Thanks for the thought put into this tiny book. I also am so pleased with the integrated books in the 'read-throughs' as they include fantastic reading (all which I would have had the opportunity to have read but...now I do and with the enjoyment of reading them to my children. I think Sonlight is marvelous, thank you for your hard work, effort, and time in producing a curriculum that is outstanding!

We just got our K curriculum today and I was so impressed with how complete it is! Everything, even scissors, glue, chalk, crayons, etc. My son got so excited looking at all of the school books and supplies that he yelled, "My school stuff is here! Thank you, Jesus!" So far, we love it!
