My son is was 4 years old when we tried this program. It was so basic. My son has never had any formal math lessons and he knew all of this naturally. May try again with my other son when he is 2 1/2 - 3. Definitely more of a Pre-K curriculum.

This is a solid program if you enjoy scripted lesson plans and your child enjoys manipulatives and lots of review. The beginning seems very UNDERwhelming because it starts w/ things like counting to 5, but very soon it moves to pattern recognition and creating, addition and subtraction stories all the way to skip counting and working with money. I love it as a concrete way to keep my K'er feeling like she/he has important school work to do, but as my house has filled up w/ littles I see many other ways to keep them busy AND learning w/ less one-on-one time from me.

I had purchased this program based on ratings of it at another homeschool site. It was something I dreaded pulling out because of the hunt and gather for some of the lessons. The sheer volume of detail involved in a simple lesson (the scripting) was just too much hand holding for me. Also this K level moves so slowly. Much more a preschool program than K level I think. I will say my daughter seemed to enjoy it. But as the parent I could not trudge on with it.
