I agree with Anne that the teacher's guide is more of a solutions guide then a teaching guide. I do use it to print off the worksheets if there is a particular thing my child did not get, so they can try again. The reviews at the beginning of each lesson has been helpful, and I havent been stumped to figure out how to teach the exercises, I dont know how much longer I can keep that up for, when they get into higher math. :) I also enjoy the many bible references throughout the book, and they do a good job of changing the problems around so they are not constantly doing the same thing over and over.

I was disappointed with the Teacher guide. Each lesson provides a repetative list of the skills reviewed in the lesson, but we did not find many explainations of how to teach or learn the skills mentioned. The answer key provided simple answers - no work shown. There are instructions for new topics in the student book at the beginning of each lesson, but not for all the topics reviewed. We only used the Teacher guide as a solution guide, not a teaching guide.
