Both I and my children found this book to be overly silly, boring, and tedious. We left this behind for actual Bible readings. I would love to see Sonlight replace this one. ~MrsPastorGrant~

I almost didn't use this book because the cartoon illustration and light tone. Yet, it is interesting and the facts are solid. Hey, it's fun to be stumped with "riddles" sometimes. Just how long was Noah and kin on that ark (hint, it was not 40 days and 40 nights, as my children answered)? However, this book by itself is by no means a "Bible curriculum". It was nice to add to our reading from the Bible, as scheduled by Sonlight, but it would have not been anywhere near enough all by itself.

Some interesting factoids included, so it's not totally worthless, but I truly detest the overly jocular tone. I do not think that children need to be jollied into finding the bible interesting (parental enthusiasm is probably your best bet for that!), and there are far better resources available to make things relevant to a child's experience.

My daughter, who LOVES reading the bible, has thoroughly enjoyed this book because it is humorous. The humor in this book has not diminished her love of reading the bible, but has enhanced her understanding of certain biblical stories/facts. I also enjoy this book - I find it informative and believe it is a great resource.

A great boook of facts - helps bring out facts (as the title states) for the kids. Great resource.
