Our son LOVED this book & really responded with compassion & care for those he read about. It was precious to hear him praying for each of these people groups. We read this book last year & he still asks about the people he read about... God has used this book in his young life, making him really care about those who don't know our Saviour.

We are enjoying this book. Honestly, I wish each section was a little longer, but it's getting the point across. I'm so glad that Sonlight has included Christian books!

We love this book. We have enjoyed praying for these people groups and I am constantly finding my boys reading it again.

We LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this! My 7 yo sat and listened to the whole thing in one sitting! Then wanted to hear it again and again. So we listened to it again and again! And he wants to hear it again! This book, (and the others with the focus on world missions) is the main reason we chose Sonlight.

My dd7 thoroughly enjoyed this book, and I learned a lot, too! Some feel the information was too brief, but I found it a welcome respite from some of the other more intensive books in the core. It balances nicely, I felt.

I think it's perfect for the age group. My ds (6) and dd (7) look forward to this book every week. The take home principle for them has been to pray for others who don't have a Bible in their own language. They have prayed every night for the Jum Jum people to get a Bible in their language since we did "J" 6 months ago. I think it's because they liked their name and could remember it. As long as they appreciate that they have a Bible and start thinking about those that don't, I think God is doing a work.

Liked the idea of praying for unreached countries, but was so brief it felt like we were just doing it to check off a box.

I'm a bit disappointed in this book. There is only one illustration and a short blurb for each area. Sonlight does not include any maps in the IG for the map assignments and simply instructs you to use the map in the front of the book which is cartoon-ish and hard to match up with a real map.
The pictures they do have are nicely done and interesting, it just leaves us searching for more information.

Excellent, colorful intro to various cultures. I wanted my children to see the world beyond the USA, and this book gives them a peek into other ways of life. We all greatly like it and would like a sequel.

This is a great book, we have just started it and I have read it before my 7 year old started, and it has really touched my heart for missions. I would recomend this to any Christian home!
