"Oh, YAY! We're reading THAT book today!!!" Our son has so enjoyed this book & has really learned a lot. He told me just this afternoon that "... the ancient Greeks are my favourites!" :)

I'm very skeptical of all Usborne "history" books and find that I cannot trust the content in any of their books.

This is a great book, my son loves to get this book out and look at it after school. He is always excited to find out that we get to read this book for the day for history. The information is very good, and it isn't overwhelming to the kids, and the pictures make it very fun to look at.

This is the second "Time Traveler" I have ordered from Sonlight. My two sons have devoured it, literally, and I still have 2 daughters who will need it. This book is by far one of their most favorite read alouds, and that is only a fraction of the use it recieves! Both my boys have repeatedly poured over its pictures and texts- my second son chose it for his bedtime book for months on end BEFORE it was even part of his curriculum! Excellent format and wonderful resource!

The only problem we have had with this book is that it keeps disappearing into my older boys room. This book has captured the interest of all 4 of my kids, ages 4 to 11. I even caught my husband looking thru it. A great introduction to how people lived in different times and in different climates.

Hands-down one of my daughters favorites. Great illustrations and she is captivated by the idea of traveling back in time.

This is an excellent overview of the time periods it covered. This is easily my 7-year old's favorite history book at this time. It inspires him to learn more!

This is my favorite Usborne book. For each time period, the book focuses on the culture and daily life of a different fictious family. A very fun book.
