My son's favorite in this core-we read them over and over.

My daughter did enjoy this book and I found it very interesting to note the origins of some things in our culture, however I didn't finish to book because I felt it was too much. There is enough greek mythology other places throughout this year that I didn't think we needed this extra dose. I want my children to be firmly rooted in the word of God. There is much better fiction out there!

We really enjoyed this book. The myths were age appropriate and were exciting to listen to. It gave us better understanding of greek culture and history.

My 9 y/o really enjoyed the fun 'stories' in this book. He is very aware of these myths being just that, fables or lore. His imagination is rich and these only added to our adventures in reading. The vibrant colors and rich illustrations made the book come alive.

I am returning this book because I do not want to spend so much time on Greek myths at this young age. We may return to this at some point in the future when my children have been well grounded in the true stories of the Bible.

This book was one of my favorites in Core 1 because it has dragons and a lion that breathes fire and has a snake tail and a goat body. I liked the whole book, but my favorite part was where Perseus cut off Medusa's head and put it in a bag. When my mom read this book to me, I felt excited. I think you'll want to read this book because it is really cool and I loved it! This review was by Austin, age 8.

Our entire family enjoyed these stories. My 7yo son looked forward to these, and we frequently read more than was scheduled. I think this book was just right for the targeted age/grade. ~MrsPastorGrant~

I felt the need to skip over much of the material in this book due to the graphic nature of many of the myths with my two daughters, ages 8 and 5.

Greatly enjoyed by my girls and me. Because the stories were both short and interesting, my 4 year old could also enjoy this with her older sister.

This is a well-done introduction to Greek myths, which I personally found very informative and interesting. Would I read it to my young children? No. I would prefer they learn about these myths only at a later age, after obtaining a stronger foundation in the Word of God.
