Love the Book of Time and LOVE the timeline figures! My kids adore them so much, I just bought a 2nd set and 2nd book for my daughter (age 3). :)

These are great but to make the package really helpful, there needs to be more of them. I went straight through my order twice before I saw them, 4 little pages stapled together. Then I was very underwhelmed at how few of them there were. Considering the depth of the history & geography lessons, we need more. Great Wall of China, Viking Boats, pyramids, castles, chariots, a Tudor House or the Globe Theater, the Mayflower, the Walls of Jericho etc...I often forget to use them because its so seldom I find what I'm looking for.

Helpful at this age to introduce a timeline and to start the basic concept of history. We went through the whole book every time we put in a picture. "Look, here's Adam and Eve, and way over here,(pages later) here's William Tell, (pages later), and here's where you were born, and here's where your brother was born." It helped to see some things must have happened a long time ago because she had to go through so many pages to get to where she was born.

High quality, thick sticker paper. Able to be handled by young fingers without ripping. Gives them a real sense of accomplishment and ownership of their books of time. I also appreciate the graphics that you can lightly color with colored pencils or leave plain.
