I like the variety of literature this package provides. I have twin 6 year olds in first grade. My only complaint is that some of the books are WAY too advanced for them. They do not understand half of the words in the book Apple and the Arrow. Some of them I even had to look up to be able to explain it. "Ducal Hat"-the hat of a duke.

We are 80% through Core K using the 4-Day plan and the only book we haven't been able to get through due to total lack of interest is 'The Light at Tern Rock'. Otherwise every book has brought us much joy in learning. The only thing I regret is not ordering the 5 Day schedule with ALL the books!

The books in this product are so mind-captivating it us unbelievable. I have recommended many of the individual titles to friends and people at the local pre-school that the younger one attends. I am actually looking forward to re-reading them in two years to her. An older child, 5th grader, has been doing some of the reading and has found the books interesting enough that she gets upset if I do the read-aloud while she is gone. Wonderful books, all of them.
