We LOVED this book! We really enjoyed the adventure of the boy's pursuit of his dream, in spite of the obstacles encountered. We cheered when he finally achieved the Courbette! To top it off, the Lipizzaner Stallions were performing near us (well, 2.5 hours' drive away) so we got to see, in person, what we'd been reading! Great opportunity to make the most of homeschooling!!

For horse lovers - this is a great book - detail about the training of the Lipizzaner horses - nice story line too. Illustrations are beautiful.
