We are delighted with this microscope. We bought it for our 10-year-old daughter who has a very strong interest in microbiology. She is thrilled, and I am very pleased with the quality of the instrument. The mechanical stage is especially great at this price. Thank you Sonlight!

Great Quality -- My little boys (7 & 4)are "Science" buffs and enjoy enriching the sonlight science curriculum close up through use of samples found in nature. We had a "toy" mircroscope that was ok, however difficult for the boys to use. We purchased this one, along with the camera/video device and are very pleased. I would say it is a better quality than I had in high school.
