I'm a bit disappointed in this book. There is only one illustration and a short blurb for each area. Sonlight does not include any maps in the IG for the map assignments and simply instructs you to use the map in the front of the book which is cartoon-ish and hard to match up with a real map. The pictures they do have are nicely done and interesting, it just leaves us searching for more information.

Excellent, colorful intro to various cultures. I wanted my children to see the world beyond the USA, and this book gives them a peek into other ways of life. We all greatly like it and would like a sequel.

This is a great book, we have just started it and I have read it before my 7 year old started, and it has really touched my heart for missions. I would recomend this to any Christian home!
