My kids love Sonlight 1 so much that they wanted to keep reading about Ancient Egyptians forever! They have loved the choice of read alouds {we are reading Mrs. Piggle Wiggle right now and they beg for one more chapter every night!} and the history is arranged in such a way that all I have to do is sit back and read and discuss. I love Sonlight's Instructor's Guide and rely on it for our schedule. It saves me so much time in planning. We are hooked. The book choices are excellent. The read alouds and history spines are so exciting for my kids {ages 7 and 8} that they LOVE to do history everyday! They even PLAY that they are Ancient Egyptians and Cretans and Indians!

LOVE IT! Not only does my 7 y/o love this, my 4 y/o enjoys the science (And my husband has a blast with the science experiments too!) The read alouds attract my teenagers and there friends -- we have been reading Follow My Leader to our daughters Young Life College Group!
