The Summer Olympic Games—Tokyo 2020 Unit Study
The Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 will be celebrated from July 23 to August 8, 2021. Take advantage of the thrill of the Olympics to teach your children the geography and history of the host country—Japan. In this FREE Summer Olympics unit study, you and your children will work through an 9-day guide with reading passages (included), printable maps, and notebooking pages.

Every four years, a different country gives us a peek into their unique and amazing culture. The Olympic Games are a great opportunity to incorporate Olympic themed activities, crafts and learning in the classroom, homeschool or at home with the entire family.
Lent & Easter Homeschool Resources
You might be surprised by how much your family grows in spiritual awareness when you set aside the weeks leading up to Easter for prayer and thoughtful reflection in your homeschool. With the help of our Lent and Easter resources, your family can immerse themselves in this special season of Lent—roughly 7 weeks, beginning with Ash Wednesday and culminating with Holy Saturday, the day before Easter. With our Lent Unit studies and book recommendations, we hope to foster a deeper spiritual awareness and allow you and your family to experience the joy of the resurrection more fully. Note: It is not necessary to have completed any Sonlight Lent Unit Study in a particular order. Get one per year or repeat every year!
Lenten Unit Study: Amon's Adventure
Lent is a period of about 7 weeks culminating the day before Easter. This unit study on Lent combines scripture discussion, music, and hands-on activities to foster a deeper spiritual awareness and joy in the Resurrection.

Advent Unit Studies
During the season of Advent we prepare to celebrate Jesus’ first coming as a baby in Bethlehem. Get one of our family Advent unit studies each year to help make Advent a true family celebration. Each easy-to-use kit includes 28 days of material; enough to cover from the first day of Advent (the Sunday after Thanksgiving) through Christmas. It is not necessary to have completed any Sonlight Advent Unit Study in a particular order. Get one per year or repeat every year!
