It's Late...

After missing three days from the blogosphere I'll have close to 600 posts to catch up on tomorrow, among other things.

Whew. It's gonna be insane!

But for tonight, I'm tired so I'm going to take a break from posting. Well, I'm posting, and I'll make a point, but I'm still going to take it easy.

So, my point: Sometimes it's best to just take it easy. This applies to work, your homeschooling, even housework and such. It's okay to relax. Life's too short to be obsessed with the trivial things and too long to worry about them.

See you all in the morning!

P.S. If you feel the need for some real stuff, check out the Other Posts of Note. I've managed to stick a couple new ones in there. Doing what I can <smile>.

I did not realize that this was the blog that you posted on frequently. :)

Taking it easy...yes, this is a lesson that I am learning right now in a huge way. With a new baby and a toddler that thinks he is 9, there is a ton of expected things that can throw me off my schedule. But what I am learning, is to enjoy the freedom that comes with homeschooling and the fact that I can take it easy and life will go on nicely if I focus on having a pleasant attitude and not one where I try to rush my kids to get through school just to get it done. :)

I am looking forward to your 600 posts today. Cuz of course I have 2 spare hours to read whatever you blog. Ha-ha.

In your post you portray that you are filling in space but in actuality you point out a VERY important thing. As a homeschooling mom is is hard to remember to take it easy and not allow myself to stress about unimportant stuff. It is important to take the time to enjoy what you are doing. It is important to sit on the couch and cuddle with your family. It is important to spend time with your children doing things they are interested in.
Thank you for this very important reminder!

Annemarie, I post here five times a week. I don't post 600 times, but I read hundreds of other people's posts and add the really good ones to the "Other Posts of Note" section on the right there. <smile>

And both of you stated my point far better than I did. Thanks so much for adding your very insightful comments and sharing your personal stories. I love getting comments from people who know more about what I'm saying that I do <smile>.
