No one else gets all giddy about Box Day stories?

Well, I do.

They make me so happy. And that's why I want to share them with you (and I want you to share them with me so I can share them with the world!). Toward that end, I have started another blog--for ease of updating--where I will post the Box Day stories you send to me. I already have a few up, so please send me yours!

Hop on over there, get some inspiration, and then send me your Box Day story.

...oh, and commenting and letting me know how much you enjoy reading said stories is also a very acceptable course of action at this point. Thanks! <smile>

Luke, I KNOW I have seen a ton of box day stories and even a neat post on how the box was turned into a castle (I think that counts, don't you?). Some have made it into your Posts of Note. Hopefully, more people send theirs in. I think the videos on the Sonlight website are ok, but the excitement of the parents and children in the curriculum is more authentic. You have to admit the books strewn all over the living room "bomb went off" style is closer to how we all live than the nicely groomed ladies neatly stacking the books next to the box LOL.

Prisca, glad you liked them <smile>.

Mrs. C, you're right: My Box Day video on the site was more for giving some information... but I love, love the photos from customers. And, I'm very happy to include links to people's Box Day stories, but I can't steal them without permission <smile>.

Luke: when we got our Box I purposely took shots that don't show the kiddo's faces so that I can share them online. But we'll have to wait til I get us back home for me to post and share and send them over...too crazy around here this trip! The upside is that I then had to ship them home anyway - so we'll be celebrating Box Day all over again. WOOHOO!!! Yet another asset of military life that folks don't know about. heehee

Melonie, I can't wait to read your story and see your pictures! <smile>
