What You Need to Know to Start Homeschooling
Description & Show Notes
Once you have made the decision to start homeschooling, where do you begin? Have you ever wished that someone would just give you a checklist so you could mark off the steps to get your homeschool off the ground?
Pull up your comfy chair and listen in while our panel of veteran homeschool moms cover some of those items from your checklist:
- Am I required to have a degree of some sort to teach my children at home?
- How do I find the right curriculum? Especially if I have multiple children and they have radically different personalities?
- You don’t know how poor I was at math when I was a student. How am I ever going to teach my kids math?!
- There is no room in my tiny little house for a schoolroom. Now what?
- Organization is a foreign language to me. How can I possibly keep track of all the books and supplies and records and “stuff”?
These ladies will share practical ideas and encouragement from their years of experience, as not only homeschool moms but also their 20+ years of counseling and directing families at homeschool conventions. They are passionate about helping families get a good start on their homeschool journey.
