Sonlight has instilled a love of learning and curiosity about God's world in our daughters. When Afton was in public school, she hated to read (and, that's an understatement!). It must have been the content because ever since schooling with Sonlight, she has a tremendous love for reading and a deep love for history. Through rich literature, our daughters are able to learn about historically significant events, people, and places in a fun and engaging way. Who am I kidding? I'm learning right alongside them! Here, Afton (14) and Anja (11) read their Core G books with Grandma and Grandpa … who love Sonlight books too!
"Sonlight hit a home-run with these readers!" writes Kristee R of Webbers Falls, OK. "Be warned: You won't want to stop reading once you start!" Pictured, Deanna (13) poses with her stack of History / Bible / Literature G books. She couldn't resist reading one right away. Oldest of three children, Deanna has been Sonlighted for all six years she's been homeschooled. Cadee and Aiden, both 3-years-old, are starting Sonlight P3/4.
"Sonlight's flexibility allowed us to do school together, despite the differences in my kids' ages," writes Rachel B. of Weatherford, TX. "We just finished our first year homeschooling two children, and I was pleasantly surprised by how easy it was! James (5) was eager to jump into the History / Bible / Literature program Elizabeth (8) was using. Anne (2) got a kick out of 'supervising' her older siblings with me!" Elizabeth, James and Anne pose with all their Sonlight Read-Alouds.
