"Thanks to Sonlight our daughters have developed a keen interest in stories and poems," writes Mariska W of Malawi. "We have a precious, daily bedtime routine in which we snuggle together in our cozy reading corner for some bedtime stories and Naomi and Abigail choose a poem to recite." By using the Developing the Early Learner series [from Core P4/5], I was able to learn that Elizabeth wasn't always deliberately disobeying me. It was that her auditory memory skills were terrible! It gave me a specific goal to work on with her, and now she is getting much better at remembering my instructions. This is not a workbook set I would have purchased on my own, but I'm thankful that Sonlight included it in Core P4/5. Our family has benefited much from learning more about both of our daughters' perceptual strengths & weaknesses. Lord willing, we will use Sonlight until the children are done with high school. To find a curriculum so rich in great literature and Jesus was a blessing! Elizabeth (5) and Abigail (4) both love their school work. They're now using Core A in their second year of Sonlight.
