Over the years Sonlight has helped us grow in our love of literature, and learning. When we found Sonlight, we knew it was a perfect match for our homeschool. It provided my children with an amazing foundation for a love for great literature, the ability to critically assess everything they read and to think outside the box. They have developed into independent learners. As we near the end of our homeschool journey, we are amazed by the incredible library we've built, and the books that the boys continue to go back to over and over again. I am so thankful for Sonlight’s History / Bible / Literature programs. Sonlight does not water down history or skip over the hard parts while remaining age-appropriate. It is not easy talking to our children about horrible atrocities that have been committed throughout history. Although these conversations can be very difficult they are worth having. The Instructor’s Guide includes tools to help gently lead our children through these challenging conversations. At the same time, the program includes inspiring books highlighting men and women that overcame harsh and difficult situations.
