Comprehensive Online Video Tutorials We've built Thinkwell's Calculus around a series of 146 internet-based multimedia tutorials, providing 40 hours of instructional material. Compared with a traditional textbook, Thinkwell's offers a more engaging, more effective way for students to learn. Rather than reading dense chunks of text for homework, students watch online video lectures filled with illustrations, examples, even humor. Students report learning material more easily with Thinkwell than a traditional textbook. Interactive Exercises with Feedback Thinkwell's Calculus contains 1,086 exercise items with fully worked-out solutions and explanations for right and wrong answers. Students can work on the exercises at the computer or print them out to work on later. Once students enter their answers in the computer, the items are automatically graded and the results reported to professors. Review Materials While the online video lectures are the heart of Thinkwell products, we also offer concise, illustrated review notes, a glossary, transcripts of the video lectures, and links to relevant websites. All of these materials may be viewed online, and the notes and transcripts may be printed and kept for reference. Thinkwell's Calculus also features dynamic Flash ™ animations that further explain concepts that give students the most trouble, including the determination of volumes of solids of revolution and the evaluation of integrals using trigonometric substitution. Access to all review materials is included in the price of this "online access" package.

Custom Website We will build a website around the customized table of contents and assignments for every course using Thinkwell. Materials will be presented in exactly the order professors want them. Professors can make changes to their websites with our easy-to-use online tools; or contact us and we'll be happy to take care of them. We also provide aggregate data about the exercise items that are giving students the most trouble. All of this information may be exported to other computerized gradebook systems.
