My husband caught this moment unbeknownst to us. I'm so glad he did! Here we are camped out on the sofa reading from the Family-Time Bible in Pictures. Our girls have learned so many Bible stories from this book they have amazed their Sunday school teachers. We've had to teach them to listen respectfully in class instead of calling out, "I already know that story!" We have had a wonderful first year of homeschooling with Sonlight. Our daughters loved all the stories in the P3/4 program. We've read most of them multiple times. My husband and I have seen huge growth in their vocabulary and listening comprehension. My favorite thing has been watching my 3 year old daughter "read" her favorites on her own almost word for word. We are looking forward to P4/5 and repeating p3/4 with our two younger children in the future.

I'm so thankful for Sonlight's Language Arts guidance. We kept plugging away and I took faith in the tips and pointers (and Ruth Beechick's book). I won't forget the week everything seemed to brighten and I wasn't 'making' Zeke read anymore. He now says reading is his favorite!
