Learning is a lifestyle around here, with two high school graduates, one in college and one working in the trade for which he trained, and two in high school... and I've gone back to college, finally finishing up my BSBA, and now working on my MBA with hopes to teach at the college level... Our family loves to learn together, enjoying the adventure of life as we live out our calling to lay down our lives daily for our Lord, Jesus, learning to love and obey Him more each day. Join me as I share a bit of this amazing journey!

Homeschooling has always been a joy in our home. Until my oldest child was around 5th grade my kids didn't even realize when we read aloud it WAS school! They just loved the books! Even my learning challenged child, who didn't read independently until around 11 years old, would say, "When are we going to read a book like that again, Mom?" In high school this young man would pick up books over 300 pages long to read for his own pleasure! And this has continued into adulthood! This is the definition of success for my family!

We have used Sonlight for over 14 years now. It has been a great adventure. Without the help provided in Sonlight's Instructor's Guides and the ease of having all the books chosen for me, shipped to my home, and all ready to read on our shelves, homeschooling would have been overwhelming.

In addition to homeschooling my own children for over fifteen years I have happily assisted hundreds if not thousands of families to choose the right curriculum for their family, navigate high school and college admissions, create transcripts, and much more.
