Long before these new LA programs were officially announced to the world, Sonlight Curriculum Consultants and Advisors met here in Colorado. They were here to teach (and learn from) each other in preparation for a new year of helping and encouraging thousands of homeschoolers worldwide who rely on Sonlight for their homeschool success. The huge Language Arts update was one of the more anticipated subjects of the week...
Talking with the team about the goals and changes of the new LA Guides was so helpful, Sarita and several Consultants decided to do the same for you. Now, they’ve recorded a conference call together, and captured the best information about what you’ll find in the new material.
"We talked about our own experiences with other methods of teaching language arts," said Sarita. "I explained why I’m so interested in this ‘natural method,’ and shared the story of Dr. Ruth Beechick’s direct involvement in helping us create these new LA Guides. Mainly, we explored the key changes in the programs, and described what you will do and learn with your children as you go through them."
