I am the only female in a house of mighty men - a precious husband and three sons, of which one is married with his own family, one has recently graduated college, and one is serving his country in the Army. Having homeschooled since 1990 with a variety of approaches, I enjoy encouraging other parents on their homeschool adventure.

Home Teaching Help: Welcome to the Homeschool Journey

Homeschooling is not the new concept that it was when I started over 20 years ago, but it still represents a unique approach when compared to most parents' educational experiences. I am beginning to meet young parents who were themselves homeschooled, but they are the minority. For the rest of us, embarking on the homeschool journey requires research and adjustment of mental pictures ... and don't forget commitment.

As a Sonlight Curriculum Consultant, I'd like to be your resource for information regarding homeschooling.
