Does Sonlight have material for higher than 10th grade?

Sonlight has developed courses that allow your high schooler to continue the adventure in learning for a lifetime with us. Instead of a high school homeschool curriculum package, traditionally, high school students "build their own" course of study, and Sonlight offers a wide variety of appropriate courses that allow your student to do the same. Sonlight's Core Programs 9 and 10 include History, Literature and Language Arts and are appropriate for children 14-18 years old. Sonlight also offers a Survey of British Literature program which can be used with children 16-18 years old. Other high school courses that Sonlight offers include Apologia sciences, a variety of math programs from Saxon, Singapore, and Video Text Algebra, foreign languages, art, driver's ed, public speaking, as well as other electives.

So how do you make sure you don't "run out" of Cores before your child graduates? If you have never used Sonlight and you need material for a high schooler, Cores 7-10 all easily qualify as high school homeschooling curriculum material. Cores 5 and 6 can work, with some modification. If you are just beginning Sonlight with elementary children and are looking to the future, remember that each level of Sonlight contains a large amount of material. Many families spread one Core over one and a half or even two years.
