President of Sonlight Curriculum
Sarita makes it her mission to help families love to learn—together...and to impact the world. She’s served as a missionary, homeschooled her four children for 12 years, and developed literature-rich curriculum for Sonlight for 19 years and counting. A fan (addict?) of that “new book smell,” she reads and reviews about 12 books every week to find the best in children’s books. She’s passionate about great literature and the door it opens to help families love to learn.
She speaks, writes, and uses her resources to spread the Gospel to unreached peoples of the world. One of her highest goals is to help parents raise up their children as ambassadors for Christ. She encourages homeschool parents in their noble task of discipling and teaching their children to learn for life. Find out more about Sarita’s perspectives in this short video or on her personal blog.
