This book was great for my 7 year son. Just enough information but not too much. I agree I don't plan on reading it to my daughter until she is 7. She is just 5 and I think the information in The Story of Me is just enough for her. I would read the book yourself first before reading it to your child so you can decide if they are ready for this level of information.

I don't know about anyone else's 5 year old but this book seems like a bit too much information for her at this point. I think I'd recommend it for an older child rather than a kindergartener.
