All the teaching resources you need in one package: a pronunciation CD, instructional/practice flashcards, teacher's guide with three-ring binder, and textbook with consumable worksheets and tests.

Begins with the very basics and moves outward from there. The program is designed so you can simply pick it up and do it with virtually no preparation. The LATIN Road is so thorough in its study of English grammar, it will strongly supplement if not entirely replace much of the material covered in a standard intensive grammar program.

PTlease note: Each student will need their own set of consumable worksheets/tests (RL59W). Optionally, you may wish to provide each student their own separate textbook (RL59T) which includes a set of consumable worksheets/tests.

5 out of 5 stars by Shannon S on 2011-06-09
This is an excellent program for a homeschool with no Latin background (other than having completed Volume 1 & 2). The book begins with a review chapter of everything learned the previous years. I believe it does require the teacher to do the lessons about a week ahead of the student, which at this point is a significant time investment. My 13 yo daughter is doing well with this program, but it will take us about a year and a half to complete. We will never ever need to study grammar ever again. I have learned more English grammar, and learned it better, than I have ever learned in my entire life, because I have to apply it in order to translate the more advanced sentences into Latin. This book is about 1/3 bigger than the first 2 books, with much more vocabulary to learn, and gets significantly harder around chapter 13. Comparing it to other Latin programs, you can definitely award credit for Latin II on a high school transcript upon completion of this book.
