Purchase Rosetta Stone at the lowest price allowed

Sonlight offers Rosetta Stone at the "floor price": No retailer is allowed to sell these language programs for a penny less, and not even Rosetta Stone offers their product for so little! So if you've been thinking about learning another language—or two—purchase your Rosetta Stone programs from Sonlight!

Learning Greek can be so fun and easy, your whole family may want to join in the experience!

See Rosetta Stone program description for complete details.

Try the other two Greek levels, and you can even save some money (versus buying them separately)...

  • The Greek Level 2 program includes: directions and transportation, past and future tenses, adverbs, formal imperatives, school subjects, months of the year, social dialogues, emotions, and sequencing with first/then/finally. You can save $119.00 when you purchase Greek Levels 1+2 together.
  • The German Level 3 program (a special order item) includes: household items, physical activities, animals, possessive pronouns, present subjunctive, portions, weights and other measurements, and opposing concepts (such as no one/everyone, remember/forget, and nothing/everything). You can save a total of $238.00 when you special-order Greek Levels 1-3 as a complete set!

What's included in this package?

  • Sonlight offers only the Rosetta Stone "Homeschool Edition". You get the complete "Personal Edition" (software and language lessons on CD-ROM, printed User's Guide, and USB headset with built-in microphone), plus...
  • The robust and easy-to-use Student Managment System lets you track and review your students' achievements, print out important progress records, create custom exercises and quizzes, and more.
  • On your "Supplements" CD-ROM, you'll find all sorts of printable helps, such as scripts for every lesson, a complete index of words taught in the program, and a Table of Contents to find what you need.
  • All this (plus keyboard stickers, a Quick Start card and more) for the same price you'd pay elsewhere for just the Personal Edition...
  • Note: This program teaches your students to SPEAK and READ Greek; it does NOT teach grammar to the same degree that you might find in a traditional classroom program. But this Homeschool Edition can definitely better equip students who may desire to continue learning Greek in a classroom setting.

Bonus: Your order of any Rosetta Stone program makes you a Sonlighters "Classic" Club Member instantly (if you aren't a Club Member already), with—among other valuable perks—a full year of access to the Sonlight Forums (to participate, simply register for your free term) and a hand-selected taste of the best of those forums and more through the twice-a-month email newsletter "A Beam of Sonlight." That's another $54.90 value, yours at no cost. Plus...

Your Rosetta Stone order also automatically qualifies for Free Standard Shipping anywhere in the "lower 48" United States. International orders get great rates and our fastest shipping ever.

What's new in Version 3?

  • Contextual Formation design gets right into the most practical everyday words and phrases your students can begin to use immediately...
  • Level 1 programs include basic conversational skills, greetings and introductions, colors, adjectives, numbers, prepositions, definite/indefinite articles, singular/plural nouns, family relations, the five senses, and time of day.
  • Level 2 includes directions and transportation, past and future tenses, adverbs, formal imperatives, school subjects, months of the year, social dialogues, emotions, and sequencing with first/then/finally.
  • Level 3 covers household items, physical activities, animals, possessive pronouns, present subjunctive, portions, weights and other measurements, and opposing concepts (such as no one/everyone, remember/forget, and nothing/everything).
  • Adaptive Recall actively tracks your students' progress through each lesson, and then efficiently adapts their review (if they need it) to reinforce strengths and patiently train any problem areas.
  • Milestone Lessons take lesson-and-review up a notch. When they pass these real-life conversation simulations, your students are ready to move on to the next unit. If they don't quite make it, you'll be glad that Adaptive Recall can help keep their practice time focused on the skills they need to proceed.
  • Your "Student Management System" is now stored right on the main application disc. So what? Well, if you've ever used a program where you had to frequently stop everything to swap discs, then you probably know what a hassle that can be.

5 out of 5 stars by KERRY B on 2009-02-12
My kids and I have been using the Rosetta Greek program for just a few weeks. I like that my little guy (nearly 6 yo) and I are on equal footing with this program. It is intuitive, repetitive in nature, has great pictures to look at, and makes learning a language relatively pain free. We each have our own log in, and each of us chose the sounds that we wanted to hear when we get a right or wrong answer...great encouragement. We view engaging photos, and choose the auditory words that go with those photos, with the initial "learning" of trial and error, so we get some wrong at first, until we figure out what they are asking. Greek text is printed at the same time. We haven't gotten to the point where we can read the language yet, but I'm starting to recognize what sounds go with what letters...and have an advantage there as I recall them from old math and science lessons from my past. The downside, perhaps, is that we don't jump right on in to conversational Greek, which we need for our travels, but rather with common words: boy, girl, man, woman, walk, dance, jump, animals, colors and numbers. If you aren't going to Greece immediately, this obviously isn't any sort of detriment, as language builds upon a core of useful words. What I really do appreciate about this specific language is how many words in Greek form the foundation of English words. I really do like this program.
