We did this core with my dd 4 and she LOVED it! Now we are well into Core K and she still pulls the books from P 4/5 down for me to read! We look forward to reading this core again next when my ds is 4. We will add some premaths and LA to the core for him! I highly recommend this core!

P4/5 was my very first Sonlight purchase. I was rather disappointed in the IG. I think I was expecting something more...discussion points maybe? Activity ideas? Something to bring all the random page reading together! It just doesn't feel like enough. I'm unsure as to whether or not I'll stick with Sonlight if this is a glimpse of what the other cores look like.

I began using this with my 2 year old dd. What a great Core and it fit us perfect. We used it twice and definitely got our money's worth. Great Core for ages 2 (if they love books) up through 7 in my opinion if you add in LA and Math.

I was disappointed in the books selected for the Pre-K curriculum. I think I was looking for more classic type books so I didn't enjoy the reading very much. I also expected that some of the books would be longer. My son did enjoy a lot of it but it wasn't challenging enough.

This is the BEST set of books! We bought Core PK to use when my son was 4. We loved it then and we have read these books every year since (he is almost 8 and still loves Core PK - so does his mom!). PK is definitely a great program for ages 3-6 and they are great books for all ages!

We LOVE this program!! We have read ALL of the books several times over--I originally got this program for my oldest daughter's kindergarten program--we literally ate the books up! And we have read them every year since (she is now in second grade)--even my 2yo SON sits still through the longer selections--his favorite is the golden books treasury!
