My son, 6, loves this book. He's very fascinated by the sea and this book answered a lot of questions he had, as well as prompting more. My 4 and 2year old enjoy it as well.

I was a little intimidated by this book for my 4 year old. It seemed a little intense but she loves it and pours over the pages asking details questions. I'm glad to be challenged!

This book is very colorful and packed with information about different sea creatures. My kids (ages 4 and 6) like the pictures. My 6 year old is most interested in learning more about all the creatures under the sea. Overall a great book.

A great "big girl" science book. It is deeper than the Berenstein Bears Big Book of Science. I would always review past days before starting the new day. My daughter is still proud of everything she remembers from this book. It took a lot of work on my part to help her remember it all though. No complaints - still a great intro book!

My 3 year old daughter has latched onto this book. She can spout off factoids from it that I don't even remember reading to her. She grabs it off the shelf and will point at various pictures and tell me about them.
It's so wonderful to SEE her enjoyment of learning.

I like how much information this book has but I really would like it better if it wasn't all packed on to the few pages that it is. It's a little overwhelming for both my husband and I but still a great starter science book.
