I love this book almost as much as my son does. He has his favorites and we have to read them along with the poem for the day.

This was fun. This really makes poetry so much more interesting! My son really enjoyed this and I did too!

Really great, coherent poems! My dd 5 understands them and really ENJOYS them! We don't call this book "silly" like we do Mother Goose!

If I have to read a book of poetry at least it is good.

Best poetry book for children I have ever read. We love it! Certain poems we have almost memorized just from repetition.

My 7 yo daughter loves this book of poetry! We have several poetry books but this is the only one she asks to read and doesn't want to stop when it's time.

I absolutely love this book. It is one of the BEST poetry books for young children I have come across. I would caution parents ahead of time, however, about the poem "Anthropoids," which tries to convince how we are related to apes. It is the only pro-evolution poem in the entire book.

I buy this book as gifts for every birthday party I can. We love this bok! The whimsical poetry, perfectly rhymed, is so fun and enjoyable for all ages!

This is one of our favorites of Core C. The poems and illustrations are delightful and whimsical; engaging enough for all of us - 5yo, 3yo, and me! While the Real Mother Goose is a classic book of poems, The Llama Who Had No Pajama outshines it in helping children fall in love with poetry.
