My children really enjoy enhancing these with colored pencils, cutting them out, and putting them into the time line and labeling the pages. They insist on each one getting a turn to put them in. Fun to do, and helpful to recall the lessons for the visual learners. FUN!

Although my daughter doesn't particularly like the chore of placing the figures on the timeline, she and I both love watching the progression of history via her living books unfold. A wonderful addition to our learning journey.
