We absolutely love Getty-Dubay Italic! My son (who is left-handed) has used it from the beginning and has beautiful handwriting. He is 9 now and is using the D book. I was interested in it because of the consistency of letter formation from print to cursive. Because my son struggled with using both hands for several years and mirror-image writing, I was concerned that other print to cursive programs might add to his struggle and confusion. I have been very pleased with this program and his application of it. As a matter of fact, his 11 year-old sister has decided to start the program next school year. She is unhappy with the more formal cursive writing style I tried to use with her. She is self-conscience of her handwriting (with good reason, I might add), and wants to write as nicely as her brother. She is willing to start from the very beginning, and I am thrilled to let her!
