How disappointing! We were very excited about the Visual History of the Modern World book and have been very unhappy with it. It is written by a biased British author; and is loaded with typos - including incorrect dates!!! It is broken down in to 10-year segments, which is a sensible way to approach a century worth of history. I realize to cover an entire century jam-packed with world events creates a bit of a survey course, but the main text is still lacking in both quality and quantity of content. I am very unhappy that we purchased this curriculum and my daughter and I feel as though her time spent on this course was not as productive as it could have been.
